Summary:
Alice and Charlie Wingate, two outcast siblings who spend their time scavenging for antiques, discover a mysterious "Perfect Night Party Pack" while cleaning their father’s junk-filled garage. Inside the pack is a faded kiddie pool and a bottle of "Elixir No. 27”…. the perfect party mixer, which promises to ensure a successful event if the guests drink it.
Desperate for social validation, Charlie and Alice throw a party and follow the manual's instructions….but the party takes a supernatural turn as entranced partygoers start to swarm and mimic the siblings’ every move, the party decorations entrap Charlie, and popular bully Dana is literally sucked into the kiddie pool when she tries to interfere with Alice’s crush.
Trapped in her own dangerous celebration, Alice discovers a warning on the pool to "empty for full reversal". Despite their newfound popularity she and Charlie choose to break the spell and return to reality -returning to their normal selves as guests leave the party, oblivious to the near-catastrophe.
